Lessons are only cancelled due to thunder or lightning.  

The pool is closed for the remainder of the day (May 28, 2013) due to the weather conditions.

It has come to our attention that a few members are including their extended family (grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, etc.) in their membership privileges. Please be aware that a family membership (and sublet) includes an adult and their spouse/partner and all unmarried children residing in the same household.

All extended family members using the pool are required to pay for a guest pass. Guest passes are available for $3.00 per person or you can buy a booklet of 10 passes for $25.00. These can be purchased from the guards. Please remember to have your guests swim tested by the guards.

Previously lessons have not been available to extended family or friends at Fairfields. This year we have added an option for you to enroll children who are not part of the immediate household in lessons for an additional fee. Those lessons will be charged at a rate of $65.00 per session per child. The non-member must be accompanied by a member while participating in lessons. Please note that non-member lessons do not allow the child to participate in other activities or during family swim. A 2 week guest pass for the child registered in lessons is available for $25.00. This option will be available online within the next week. For those adults who are working or are busy with dinner for the family at our evening adults swim we thought it would be good to start up an early morning adult swim.

Times: 6:30 AM - 8:00 AM

Water polo, or Water ball, is a team water sport. The playing team consists of six field players and one goalkeeper. The winner of the game is the team that scores the most goals. Game play involves swimming, treading water (using a sort of kicking motion known as "eggbeater kick"), players passing the ball while being defended by opponents, and scoring by throwing the ball into a net defended by a goalie.

A friendly reminder that your membership at Fairfields Swimming Club is due today ( 15 Apr 2013 ) to avoid a $50.00 late fee. Please make sure once you have filled out the online renewal form that you drop off your payment and volunteer cheques to the address below. Once you have completed your registration information and payment has been received, you will be able to register your child(ren) for their swimming lessons which are now available online.
