I hope that you all enjoyed the hot and sunny season this year at Fairfields as much as we did! It was great to see so many families out enjoying the pool to beat the heat. As we approach our Annual General Meeting next week and begin planning for next years season we need your help.
As a member owned and operated facility we rely heavily on members to volunteer for a variety of roles including joining the Board of Directors. The pool cannot operate without a Board of Directors who ensure that the pool is operational, that we have lifeguards and an amazing level of programming included as part of Membership!
Several board members (myself included) have been on the Board for many years and will be stepping down for various reasons. We are reaching out today to ask for at least 4 members to join the Board or the pool will not be able to open next spring!!
Participating on the Board of Directors isn't a full-time job so it doesn't take up too much time (especially if all of the Board and support positions are filled!). We have provided links that briefly outlined the positions below and we ask that you seriously consider helping out so that we can ensure the pool operates next year!
